Jennifer Lopez Will Be The New Mean Simon, Not Randy, ‘American Idol’ Producer Nigel Lythgoe Says!
“Randy, of course. has changed his persona. Randy knows what he’s doing, so he’s there,” the 61-year-old producer told us. “Jennifer gets stronger and stronger and she’ll take over. There’s no question in my mind.”
Nigel said between Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and J. Lo, it’s the 41-year-old girl who’s going to be leading the pack.
“No question in my mind. She will take over,” he said, adding, “And Steven is very smart, very quick witted. So, I really like them all. They all bring something — and they don’t all agree with each other.”

Prime-Time TV’s Top-Earning Men
Topping the list is American Idol runaway Simon Cowell, who banked an impressive $80 million over the past year. The British TV personality made much of his bounty from Idol, the top-rated series he chose to walk away from this past spring. (Come January, new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez will attempt to fill his shoes.) He also collects fees from both the Got Talent and X Factor formats, along with profits from his record label. Looking ahead to next year, the man TV fans love to loathe will add another potential cash machine to his armory, when The X Factor (finally) crosses the pond.
Not far behind is his one-time Idol frenemy Ryan Seacrest, who raked in $51 million during the same period. At 35 years old the Idol host and E! News personality may not be as wealthy as Cowell, but he’s certainly as busy–and getting busier.
Simon and Ryan are #1 and #2 on the list, respectively

The Situation Answers the Steroid Question
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is famous for three things. 1. “Jersey Shore” 2. “Dancing with the Stars” 3. His abs. So is the reality star using more than just the gym to get in tip-top shape? He answers the steroid question on tonight’s “Nightline” and we have a sneak peek.
“Oh never, never, never,” he tells Chris Connelly when asked if he uses steroids. “The steroid look is definitely a bulkier look,” he says. “I have a more thin, lean look. And I don’t judge. If somebody’s going to take steroids, that’s their prerogative and their body. I’m worried about taking care of myself and working out and taking my body to the best it could be.”

‘Dancing With the Stars’: Florence Henderson on her stoicism and acoustic night
As Season 11’s most senior contestant, 76-year-old Florence Henderson would probably be justified in any complaints about the physical rigors of “Dancing With the Stars.”
But while her rehearsal footage has shown most her cast-mates frustrated and exhausted, Henderson has maintained a noticeably stiff upper lip.
“I’m not super human, but I am super stoic,” Henderson tells to Zap2it at the Oct. 8 GLSEN Respect Awards, acknowledging that she feels just as beat up as everyone else.
